Player Safety

The Blackhawk Lil Cougars are pleased to announce that they are joining the growing number of professional teams, colleges, high schools and youth leagues across the country that have implemented the Guardian Cap helmet covers that reduce the force of blows to the head and other extremities. The safety of our student athletes is our number one priority. As a youth organization, we want to ensure that we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our kids and avoid unnecessary injury to the head or body by reducing helmet impact during practice. 

All Head coaches and Head Sponsors are certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR & AED plus standard First Aid through ECSI (Emergency Care & Safety Institute)
